About
Dr. Nikia

Nikia Grayson, DNP, CNM, MPH, currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Choices Center for Reproductive Health. She is regarded as one of the key individuals pushing to encourage and bring Black midwifery back to life in the South with training and education, along with expanding options for Black mothers and birthing people to where they choose to give birth.

Having more Black midwives in a comprehensive, reproductive and social justice way that addresses the health inequities and systemic racism many are facing in the healthcare system by providing care in a culturally congruent way.

Nikia's work has been recognized by various community outlets and organizations, as well as academic institutions and fellowship programs including the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Frontier Nursing University, and Healthy Communities Fellowship.
